New Snap Shots! Pappy's BBQ

Hi everybody- I just finished this piece for the St. Louis Beacon! For those of you in the know (anyone within 100 miles of St. Louis), you are already aware of the popularity of this local smokehouse. Pappy's is known for ALWAYS having at least a half-hour wait to order (it's very good bbq) and for having hundreds of BBQ bottles on its wall. I chose to use both as inspiration in this illustration. I always played around with some new techniques- so I hope you enjoy! You can catch the Beacon here.

I like the colors in this. I can't believe there is a really good BBQ restaurant in St. Louis that I have never been to or heard of. Roadtrip.

Nice one! I really like the variety of characters. Neat color choices, too. My favorite would have to be that woman in the second row with her dog beast, and the gangster in the suit.
