New ANIMALS in SUITS!

Hey everyone- hopefully you made it out to see me this past saturday at Star Clipper, but if not, I'm presenting the new animals I drew that day here today and later this week. Remember- I will be taking requests and drawing new animals two more times on December 3rd and the 10th!

Animals in Suits: THE SHOW

I am pleased to announce that StarClipper Comics and Games in the Delmar Loop will be displaying pretty much the ENTIRE run of the Animals in Suits blog- in printed form- from November 20th to January 6th, 2011!

I have designed the show to display the printed finals as well as to show my work process. Also- prints of all the animals will be for sale! That's right- you can finally own that Blobfish I drew.

There will be a signing on the 18th of December. I hope to see you all there!

Check it out y'all! Just hit the 200th animal over at AiS. It's been a ton of fun do far, but can I make it to 365? Stay tuned to find out!

Illustration Friday: Undone

Did triple duty today- Haven't done Illustration Friday in waaay too long- but didn't have time to do a whole image and also get my next animal done for Animals in Suits. So I figured let's do both in one image, and also produce a new political illo as well, why not? At any rate the theme is "undone" so I decided to show the Democratic Donkey being "undone" by one of the usual attack lines Republicans use- weakness on National Defense. Can't say I agree, but makes for a fun exercise none the less.

New Project: Animals in Suits

Starting today I am embarking on a new project designed to give me opportunity to experiment with alot of different media and one of my favorite themes: Animals in Suits.

I am going to produce a piece of art every day for one year. Every day, a new animal.

I also want to encourage community participation! Send me an animal you'd like to see and I'll produce it for the blog. The more obscure the animal the better!
